25th July 2008. Update on a few shows lined up : 4th Oct will see us supporting Floydian Slip again at the Winding Wheel. 29th Oct we have managed to secure the support slot for the legendary Bob Brozman which should be a real treat. Bob Brozman is very highly recommended and this will be a night not to be missed. 22nd Nov we are putting on a full show at The Fishpond in Matlock. We have tried to keep ticket prices to a minimum and they will soon be available at £4. Hope to see you at one, or all, of these nights. 12th March 2008. Many thanks to John Montague for inviting us to his acoustic club and the charming people of Normanton On Soar for last nights gig. We had a great time and look forward to seeing you all again. Next local gig is the Black Swan in Ashover on 26th April which we're all really looking forward to. 1st February 2008. Happy New Year. Well almost.... sorry we're a bit late with that. We've now done three shows with Floydian Slip, including the Sheffield City Hall gig, and would like to thank everyone who came to see us at one of these. Another Winding Wheel appearance is on the cards for later this year. We are also in the process of agreeing some other dates, hopefully including a local one. Haydn and Chris have both been working on their own solo cd's and of course have made full use of the rest of the band. No doubt they'll keep you informed when these are available. 2nd July 2007. We have confirmed another support slot with Floydian Slip on the 29th September 2007 at Mansfield Civic Centre. Tickets are priced at £15 and available from Palfreymans Music Shop or TicketSellers. 3rd April 2007. Our next gig is to be at the St. Georges Day Celebrations being held on Sunday, 22nd April 2007 in Ollerton. There are many things planned for the day including processions, markets and various entertainment. Music is to finish by 7.00pm and we will probably be closing this part of the celebrations. 26th March 2007. The new album, Carnival, is finished and available from Palfreymans Music Shop, Chesterfield or contacting us. Full details can be found on the Carnival page. Just in time for Thursdays gig at the Winding Wheel. 20th January 2007. The new album is close to completion and should be available for the Winding Wheel gig, if not before. As this is our first all acoustic album we have recorded new versions of some of our old favourite songs and then some brand new tunes. The album is so far to be called "Carnival" and a web page with full details will be added nearer the release. 13th January 2007. Tickets priced at £15 are now available for the Winding Wheel gig on March 29th 2007 where we will be playing a 30 minute opening set for Floydian Slip. 14th November 2006. We have been asked to play at The Winding Wheel in Chesterfield as support to top Pink Floyd tribute act Floydian Slip. We're obviously excited to do this and will give more details when known. Provisional date is Thursday March 29th 2007. 4th November 2006. The new album is well under way now and we're hoping to have it ready probably just after Christmas. We also have some ideas for future events and will of course post any developments here. 11th October 2006. We would like to thank everyone who came to the Chesterfield Art Centre gig on Monday night. Your support is very much appreciated and made it great night for us. 28th April 2006. We are delighted to confirm that Shaun Thompsett has joined the band as Paul's replacement. Shawn is not only a fine guitarist but also plays mandolin and banjo. 12 April 2006. Paul has announced that he is leaving the band. We are currently auditioning for a replacement but would like to thank Paul for all of his hard work and wish him the very best for the future. |

The name Dusty Knees was inspired from the title of a painting by the late Neon Park, whose artwork adorned many a Little Feat album cover. He was perhaps most famous though for his 1970 Frank Zappa cover for the album Weasels Ripped My Flesh. Park's widow, Chick Strand, kindly gave her blessing for the use of the name and the band were especially proud to receive this and her warm words of support. Artwork by both Neon Park and Chick Strand can be seen HERE and a short biog (with more album covers) is now worth checking out HERE
